One Minute Wiser Part 3 “From the Lost and Found Department” (THRIVE)

According to the Bible, good things tend to come in threes.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
Faith,Hope, and Love
Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob
Jesus, Joseph, and Mary
Earth, Wind, and Fire (okay, that’s a joke to see who’s reading this)

Every preacher knows what a three-point sermon is. Luke records perhaps the best three-point sermon ever delivered by any preacher.
A lost coin. A lost sheep. A lost son.

The fact that Jesus told those stories makes it even more important. Yes, you’ve heard them before, but our series, “One Minute Wiser” is a way to look at old stories in a new and fresh way. So, let me give you a hint. If the shepherd leaves 99 sheep behind to find the one who is lost; and 99 of them stay where they are without a shepherd; the question then is, “Who’s really lost?”
