Hidden Tracks Part 1 "Listen Up!" Service Livestream

It’s billed as the quietest room on earth.

It’s an anechoic chamber specially designed by Microsoft and is located at the Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, Washington. All sound from the outside world is locked out and any sound produced inside is stopped cold. You can hear your heartbeat, your joints creak, and your eyes blink. The silence is disorienting and disturbing. Most people can only remain in the room for a few seconds.

God still speaks, but often in ways we don’t expect. Elijah assumed, like most of us, that God will speak to him in a loud thunderous voice or show him some grand unmistakable sign to tell him what to do.

Sometimes it’s nothing more than a quiet whisper or a still small voice.

If it’s been a while since God has spoken to you in some meaningful way, maybe the problem is noise. As in too much of it. The noise around us and in particular the noise inside our heads. In a world dominated by noise and people shouting over each other, we long for something else.

Or as God would say, if you want to be heard, don’t shout, just whisper.
