Special Events - Children

Baptism

The Sacrament of Baptism is a joyful and holy occasion that takes place during a worship service. The United Methodist Church practices infant, child, and adult baptism. Those taking the baptism vows, along with their parents (in the case of infants and children) will meet with a pastor ahead of time to talk about the meaning of baptism and the commitment to living life as a follower of Jesus Christ.

Confirmation

Confirmation is a process of preparing 6th graders to confirm or profess one’s commitment to follow Jesus Christ and become a member of the body of Christ, the church. It includes classes, retreats, and service projects throughout their 6th grade school year.
