Two-Week Mini-Series – Timing is Everything – Part 2 “Time to Change” THRIVE Service Livestream

They are known as the five W questions.
Who?
What?
When?
Where?
Why?
If you’re telling a journalistic story. If you’re executing a business strategy. If you’re involved in something important that affects you and the people you love, all the W questions are essential. Of course you need to know who, what, where, and why. But so much of it also depends on timing. When to change and when to stay the course. When to hold on and when to let go. When to keep fighting and when to give up. When to speak up and when to remain silent.
Think about the timing of your own life. The day your child came into the world. The job you rejected, the invitation you passed on. Missed opportunities and regrets. The unexpected changes that came because of illness, aging parents, a move to a new city. The moment you first met the love of your life. “Good things take time; great things take a little longer.”
Timing is everything. The older we get the more we understand it.
Ecclesiastes is not only a book categorized as Wisdom literature in the Bible, but also wise advice for anyone listening.
On Sunday, we will gather in a sanctuary together to sing the hymns of our faith, be with our church family, offer our prayers, and break open the living Word of God.
Timing is everything.
So, what time is it?
Time to be the church.
