The elementary kids meet together for our opening lesson and greeting time from 9:30A – 9:50A @ The Lemon room
During the 11:00 hour, join us at The Clubhouse in the Activity Center.
The Clubhouse is a worship experience specifically designed for elementary-age children. It involves music, games, lessons, an interactive giving experience, and monthly communion. The goal of The Clubhouse is to provide Trinity’s children with a space in which they are able to learn to connect, grow, and go, all while having a great time!
Sunday School is provided from 9:30A-10:45A for children from kindergarten through sixth grade.
Here are the rooms in which they meet:
Kindergarteners meet together in the Orange room and learn how to love God and grow in Christ
Sixth graders meet together in the Gold room. They study important people in the Old and New Testament and tie their learning into the Confirmation process.
First through fifth graders participate in a rotational Sunday school model and meet in one of five rooms each week. There will be a sign posted to tell you which room your child will go to each week. They rotate between cooking, technology, science, art, and games. They study people in the Old and New Testaments, the life of Jesus and they learn how to live in their community as people of God.
We are committed to creating and maintaining a safe and loving environment for all children from birth to pre-kindergarten age. Along with the involvement of the parents, our clergy, church staff and all of the members of Trinity United Methodist Church, we will help build a foundation of faith while teaching our children about the Bible and God.
